Choir Rehearsal Session Schedule:
Colorado Movement has bi-weekly rehearsal sessions on Monday’s.
The Choir Master reserves the right to give notice if any alterations or additional rehearsal are needed to prepare for events.

Instrumental Staff (Pianist, Keyboardist, Organist, Drummer, Lead Guitarist, Bass Guitarist, Horn Players)

Expectations:
1. A preferred commitment of one year, however a minimum commitment of 4 months is expected

   (Jan- Apr, May-Aug, Sept-Dec).
2. Faithfully attend rehearsal sessions and events.
3. Maintain consistencies in your life; being the same on-stage and off-stage.
4. Cultivate and grow in your spiritual walk with God.
5. Be servant-minded; place servant-hood over stardom.

Choir Members:
Vocalists will have a simple vocal range-check to determine the range of your voice for the choir (even if you already know your range). Our choir is NOT an auditioned group; therefore any vocalist is able to be a part of this group.

Commitment:
Ray 101 tells us that commitment is not being at every event. Nobody will make everything, that is just reality. Commitment to the movement remains in “good standing” when each member makes their leader (section leader or choirmaster) aware of your schedule. If you are not going to make an event, rehearsal session, engagement, choir affair or appearance, you should just simply say something to your leader. NOT alerting the proper people that you will not be in attendance is unfair to the choir and unethical. You can remain in “good standing” if you follow the notice guidelines.

Dues:
Each member is expected to pay $10 per month for the movement operational expenses.  This amount is suggested to be collected as automatic withdrawal from your bank account.

Attendance:
All members are expected to attend rehearsal sessions, studio sessions (when requested), events, engagements, choir affairs and appearances.

Absent Notice:
You should use the following procedure for communication:

If you are NOT going to attend rehearsal you should send an email to office@coloradomovement.org 72 (3 days) hours before the rehearsal session. If you miss the deadline you should alert your section leader 48 (2 days) hours before. If you miss the deadline you should contact your choirmaster 24 (1 day) hours before.
